Welcome to the Westchester Council Of The Blind's corner of the World Wide Web. This page will provide members and friends of the council with information concerning meetings, chapter officers and special projects. Come back often to see what new things have developed in this exciting affiliate.
Chapter meetings are held the second or third Tuesday of each month at WILC, White Plains, New York. Meetings begin at 6:30PM. and generally end at 8:30PM.
WILC is located at 200 Hamilton Avenue 2 blocks from the White Plains RR station.

4 of our members sit on the Transportation Advisory Committee with the county office for the disabled.
We are working to better the Paratransit and fixed route service for people with disabilities.
3 of our members will be active in sensitivity training with new fixed route bus drivers, as well as working with officials to install audible announciators on the fixed route buses in Westchester County.
WCB has been working closely with Westchester Disabled On The Move, which is an affilliate of The Independant Living Centers.
